Truckstop evolved from Spot X, a local surf shop in 2003. In 2013 Tony and Freddie took over and relocated to the industrial area so they could construct an indoor skatepark to train up the next generation of northern rivers rippers. They run clinics and events including Fair Go – the largest annual skate event on the coast.
